PACCAR, a leading technology company, has appointed Jack LeVier as its new vice president of human resources. LeVier will be managing the worldwide human resources activities of PACCAR. He has had more than 20 years' experience in senior-level positions in the field of human resources. QinetiQ North America appoints Thomas Bailey senior VP of HR
QinetiQ North America (QNA) has recently hired Thomas Bailey as its senior vice president of human resources. QinetiQ North America is owned by QinetiQ, one of the world's major defense technology and security firms. Earlier, Bailey served the Americas outsourcing division of Computer Sciences Corporation as vice president of human resources. Calling Bailey a "people first" human resources executive, President and COO of QNA Robert Topping said Bailey's "talents will help us grow QinetiQ North America as an employer of choice by developing world-class recruiting, development, and benefits programs."
Accord Human Resources to provide services to Virgo Capital
In a joint declaration, private equity firm Virgo Capital and Accord Human Resources, one of the largest outsourced HR-management providers, have announced the acquisition of Accord Human Resources by Virgo Capital. Accord Human Resources is one of the country's 10 biggest privately owned professional employer organizations (PEO). It provides human resources solutions such as payroll management, workers' compensation, and employee benefits to its 11,000 clients. According to its company website, Austin, TX- and Oklahoma-based Virgo Capital is a "private equity firm focused on making investments in profitable and growing technology-enabled services companies in the financial industry."
Dean Foods Company hires executive VP of HR
One of the leading food and beverage companies in the U.S., Dean Foods Company has hired Paul Moskowitz to serve as its executive vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Dean Foods, Moskowitz was chief people officer (CPO) of Pizza Hut. As CPO, Moskowitz managed the firm's training operations and supervised human resource activities for Pizza Hut's 40,000 workers and 4,800 franchises. As the leader of Dean Foods' human resources department, he will report to Gregg Engles, the company's chairman and CEO.
