C., Charlotte, or Atlanta.    Your Impact As A Health and Benefits Financial Vice President/Assistant Vice President Job Responsibilities: Regularly attend client meetingsLeads financial portion of and strategic discussions in client meetingsExplains financial methodology and results to clients; as well as potential alternativesMaintain and manage open items lists to ensure you are providing each client with the agreed upon workWork follow up items assigned to you to resolutionConduct ad-hoc projects as needed using appropriate resources (Stop Loss modeling, plan changes with Actuarial Value model, etc.)Be responsible for all financial activities on client teamPresent marketing results to clientPrepare monthly/quarterly financial reports for clients Review financial caveats, deviations and other notes in proposals, add appropriate notes to the client RFP results presentationNegotiate with carriers as directed on rates, designs and plan provisionsAssist in presenting results to clientDevelop executive summary on all key financial components of marketing and provide recommendationsProvide financial modeling as needed on opportunity Ensure all commissions have been disclosed and verified for each vendor Provide cost estimates for TRP and PCORI to all self-funded clients at the applicable timeCollect and submit needed financial data for bench-marking projects using Greater InsightEffectively lead financial client teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members   You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience:Eight plus of years health and benefits underwriting experience, preferably in a consulting environment.Strong proficiency in self-insured and fully insured funding arrangementsAdvanced level proficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong project management experienceClient consulting experienceSelf-starter who can work well with minimal supervisionEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experienceLicense or Certificate Requirements: Appropriate Insurance License/Life and Health or willingness to obtain license as soon as possibleWe offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.  Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
