A valued member of the integrated Legal Talent Team, the Legal Recruitment Coordinator will play a key role in collaborating with and supporting the team in the areas of legal recruitment, including on-campus interviewing (OCI), summer associate program, law school relationships, and associate onboarding and integration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the firm’s on-campus interview (OCI) program including scheduling callback interviews, track and follow up with attorneys for evaluations, prepare materials for hiring committee meetings;
Network and partner with law school career services to continue to build and strengthen law school relationships;
Develop interview schedules and compile feedback for law students, paralegals, and associate candidates;
Create the summer associate calendar and coordinate events, with support from the Senior Manager of Legal Recruitment. This includes scheduling orientation, educational seminars, social events, work assignments, evaluations, and helping to prepare for Summer Committee meetings;
Plan integration events including quarterly attorney cocktail parties and the annual attorney reception;
Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Legal Recruitment on associate, paralegal, and summer associate onboarding and integration;
Help organize outreach initiatives, including attending key recruiting and diversity events such as networking events, mock interviews, resume reviews, job fairs, etc.;
Maintain Legal Recruitment database (Lawcruit) and provide analytical reports and statistics regarding law firm and law school information as needed;
Work with Legal Talent team members to process and complete industry surveys (Vault, Chambers, NALP);
Represent the firm through membership at local legal recruiting organizations (MALRA);
Stay current with evolving developments in the recruiting field; gather market research as necessary, and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree.
2 years of experience in a law firm, law school, or professional services firm supporting recruiting.
Detail and action-oriented with strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong ownership drive, proactive and deadline-driven.
Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels.
Highly Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and applicant tracking database management systems.
