Description
As the Director, Executive Recruiting, you will contribute to a best-in-class recruiting process and candidate experience by developing and engaging your team, educating the business around the Executive Recruiting processes, and leading efforts to attract top talent for highly critical positions. You build upon your previous experience to foster collaborative relationships with business leaders, and HR leadership to drive enterprise results. The Director will identify departmental objectives and drive strategic process methodology that will achieve all desired business outcomes. Additionally, the Director is responsible for modeling business consultation capabilities to align required needs with executable business solutions. This position will also lead and manage the performance of highly specialized professional associates responsible for supporting the hiring needs of executive-level hiring managers.
Responsibilities
The Director will develop the Executive Recruitment strategy for the company, and lead the Executive Recruiting team. This leader will be highly integrated with human capital development, diversity, workforce planning, compensation and communication. This position will use a collaborative approach to develop the sourcing and attraction strategy for Executive talent, in alignment with talent acquisition programs and practices with Humana's innovative human capital model. The Executive Recruiting Director will:
Develop and drive the executive search strategy, focused on innovative sourcing and attraction strategic plans, and including firm selection/management/execution
Support and develop the talent acquisition 'brand' which leverages Humana's commitment to lifelong well-being, consumer-focused health care and inclusion and diversity.
Use influence to raise the aligned business segment's collective knowledge on talent acquisition
Communicate knowledge of proven and emerging best practices to business leaders, hiring manager and recruiters
Work collaboratively with key business aligned partners to strategize and proactively create human capital plans
Apply financial, data analysis, and advanced technical knowledge to forecast and analyze departmental needs and create long-term goals
Lead, manage, and develop direct reports
Plan and manage executive recruitment budget
Partner with other areas of the People Experience teams on strategic initiatives and special projects
Required Qualifications
Broad recruitment and sourcing experience in Board level searches, corporate staffing, search firm, and/or recruitment process organizations; exposure to a variety of recruiting/staffing organizational models; Ability to lead multiple high level executive searches with successful outcomes
Demonstrated ability to create and implement a highly visible, enterprise-wide Talent strategy, focused on sourcing and attracting executive talent in a competitive market
Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, inspire and motivate a high functioning, geographically dispersed team of recruiters and sourcing specialists
Successful experience promoting diversity, equity and inclusion both internally and externally and commitment to applying an intersectional, equity oriented lens in executive recruitment
Demonstrated ability to interface and develop collaborative relationships with senior executives and influence other leaders to adopt and participate in strategic change initiatives
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Experience managing relationships with third party search firms
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
12 years prior leadership of a Talent Acquisition team in a Fortune 500 company with a preference for experience in a healthcare environment
Prior experience with recruitment operations including applicant tracking systems, automated reporting/tracking (recruiting analytics), and vendor management
Broad HR experience in functional areas such as workforce planning, compensation, learning and development, diversity/inclusion, and business planning

10 direct reports, and will be under the leadership of the VP, Strategic Talent Management.
This position requires 20% travel.
