Description
Hiring the talent to accelerate the execution of a company's business strategy is critical to marketplace success. Getting the right people in the right seats at the right time is an important strategy led by Humana's Recruiters, in partnership with hiring managers. The Talent Acquisition Manager evaluates organizational needs and is the first level of support and inspiration for recruiters. The Manager maintains high standards for quality, actively coaching the recruiting team on bringing quick resolution to a variety of situations, while creating a positive work environment. This role will support the Welcome Center, Associate Talent Outreach, and Career Navigation Services Teams.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop the Candidate Experience and Career Navigation Services teams, total of 6 direct reports, and be held accountable for establishing monthly metrics and yearly goals
Ensure appropriate resource alignment based on metrics and relationships cross functionally and mitigate/reduce barriers to meet business needs
Management of scheduling vendor to execute upon our statement of work
Support interview needs within the on-site Welcome Center
Collaborate and consult with business leaders, hiring managers, and recruiting on Career Navigation Services and complex interview scheduling needs
Foster and cultivate collaborative relationships across various areas of Human Resources, to advance retention-based strategies
Develop and lead special projects around improving candidate experiences and advancing proactive strategies to increase retention programs
Identify and lead opportunities to make changes to improve recruitment strategy and Talent Acquisition processes
Conduct area meetings to strategize as a team and share knowledge of proven and emerging best practices
Support and ensure excellence in the practice and use of recruitment systems, processes and analytics
Create engaging environment that fosters a perfect candidate experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
High level of political savviness and professionalism
Demonstrated project management skills
Proven effective communication and consultative skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong decision making, leadership and/or motivational skills with the ability to coach, evaluate, train and provide constructive feedback to staff
This role will be hybrid, located in the Hum Tower based on the business need

Preferred Qualifications
People leadership experience is strongly preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Additional Information
You will have 6 direct reports, and you will report to a Talent Acquisition Associate Director. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer.
This position requires 10% travel, and must be able to work on-site from the Louisville-based Welcome Center.
