The Senior Director Organizational Effectiveness and Capability
will partner with HR and business leaders to drive end-to-end design, deployment, and reinforcement of organizational effectiveness programs and strategies as well as measure the effectiveness of key operational and commercial transformation projects and report results to the business. The person in this role will consult with the business and leaders involved in the transformation of the Mondelēz organization to help identify effective decision making and processes to execute business objectives, understand the right ways of working and structure, and build organizational capability to achieve goals. This person will be a key member of the Mondelēz NA Talent team, reporting to the NA Head of Talent.
Responsibilities:
Partner with HR and management to create a comprehensive plan to build organizational and functional capability that enables delivery of strategic objectives.
Manage the large-scale, complex, enterprise-wide org. transformations that deliver significant value to the business. This includes not only organizational restructuring and workforce transitions, but also the change management and communications plans of these efforts.
Ensure all changes that result from org transformation translate effectively into business processes, job roles and responsibilities, governance and ways of working, connecting dots across the enterprise, and designing and implementing integrating mechanisms when needed.
Provide direction on change management of large-scale organizational transformations and lead dedicated change management resources for the NA Region.
Translate results of surveys and trends in our metrics into action, and partner with the director of talent planning and programs to continuously improve our employee lifecycle processes.
Lead major projects related to culture, purpose, or values in partnership with cross-functional and collaborative teams. Develop and execute plans to codify and embed cultural norms, behaviors, and expectations through a series of organized and ‘branded’ programs and initiatives.
Consult HR and business leaders on most effective and efficient operating models and business structure.
Design and deliver solutions that enable business readiness to ensure success on transformation initiatives.
Influence senior leaders through strategic thought leadership, persuasive presentations, and superior service.
Manage relationships across the region and global to create strong networks and foster collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred
12 or more years of total work experience with a focus on organizational strategy and change initiative delivery, helping organizations identify and set the direction toward their most important goals
7 or more years of experience with organizational change leading major transformation initiatives, including experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Management consulting background preferred
Experience in consumer products or a related business preferred
Experience leading large-scale talent management and workforce planning processes
Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives or transformations in collaboration with an executive team
Track record of executing in fast paced, high change environments
Ability to create clear, concise, and convincing communications and presentations
Flexible and adaptable, able to work with objectivity in an ambiguous, high change environment
Creative problem solver with a high intellectual curiosity
Excellent consulting skills with a client-focused mind-set; building valuable relationships and collaboration
Excellent business acumen, project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills; making the complex seem simple
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization - formally and informally
Competent at multi-tasking and managing demands across numerous projects and client groups
