Description
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of university recruiting for assigned Humana business groups. The Senior Recruiter works on assignments that involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. They will utilize creative strategies to identify top talent and must be able to think outside the box when it comes sourcing candidates.
Responsibilities
The Senior Recruiter actively participates in the recruiting process to hire early talent for leadership programs, internships, and full-time opportunities, which can span across several Humana business groups.
Execute business strategies outlined by the recruiting lead in partnership with Early Talent Pipeline Programs and Inclusion and Diversity Talent teams
Engage with leaders internally to hire top talent while supporting the early talent programs
Develop and cultivate external relationships with career center staff and faculty
Innovate candidate outreach plans, while executing a tiered school approach
Create and maintain a best-in-class candidate experience for future Humana Leaders
Support and lead; campus recruiting events (in-person and virtual), interview days, and celebration events in partnership with the Graduate Recruiting Lead and Early Talent Program Manager(s)
Act as a Humana Brand Ambassador while providing a high touch recruiting approach
Serve as the primary point of communication with selected candidates-from talent attraction through offer/hire
Maintain understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices, while staying up to date on trends in university recruiting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of direct full cycle recruiting experience
Project management experience leading multiple projects simultaneously
Superb organizational and follow-up skills, with a focus on detail orientation and candidate experience
Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility managing complex and sensitive situations independently
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
Flexibility to adapt to & execute against organizational changes and priorities
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Must be able to travel up to 25-30% of time during peak recruiting season (Aug-Nov)
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of university recruiting experience
