We are seeking a Sr. Director, Global HR Operations & Services to lead a global team and partner cross-functionally to develop, refine and deliver services and standardized processes.
By being charged with elevating the state of HR at Pure for efficiency & operational innovation to create exceptional employee & business outcomes, you’ll lead the strategy and implementation of key processes, programs, services and tools that enable Pure to work efficiently. This is an opportunity to simultaneously build, be creative and lead complex challenges.
The services, systems and processes that you will successfully scale will ensure a stellar employee experience from on-boarding through off-boarding … creating a seamless and efficient end to end HR operation with a focus on world class quality, customer service and automation (i.e, self-service).
Your Impact:
Establish the overall Global HR Operations & Services team strategy and operating model, while leading a global team of HR Operations Managers & Specialists responsible for global HR operations
Lead for strategic HR Transformation as we aspire to build a best-in-class Shared Services capability model and, in partnership with our HR Leadership Team (HRLT), identify investments needed to deliver this seamless, world class HR service model that meet Pure’s needs
Build and develop a higher performing Global HR Operations team, while mentoring and coaching team members to their highest potential
Put significant effort into developing and cultivating strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders and collaborators
Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration to align the work and input of HR Business Partners, HRIT, Compensation & Benefits, Finance, IT, Payroll, Communications, as well as members of the business leadership team for ongoing initiatives.
With an eye on a global workforce and the processes inherent within a global company, identify gaps and efficiencies while driving innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience across all geographies.
Engage and influence for effective change management/adoption and organization wide communications.
Provide input to the annual HR budget planning process relating to projects, needed investments, renewals, etc.; review and optimize budget allocation against business priorities and needed outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Business Acumen
10 years of Operations, Services or similar relevant experience at a face paced, customer centric organization
Proven track record building best in class People systems and processes
In-depth and hands-on experience with Workday; HRIS system implementation and data migrations a plus
Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT business processes and tools and how they impact HR systems
A passion for developing service solutions that solve business needs in a way that delights end users
A data-driven approach and focus to make quantitative decisions and assessments on investments, interventions, etc.
Knowledge of global requirements across geographies (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific)
Setting Strategy
With a strong pulse on the employee lifecycle, showing aptitude to build a strategy of service engagement points for employees from when they become a candidate and on-board to when they leave a company (off-board)
Successful professional track record and leadership trajectory in Operations & Services (Human Resources or related field) in a similarly complex and growth environment
Executing for Results
Proven ability to design, coordinate and project-manage complex cross-functional initiatives given multiple competing priorities or perspectives
Experience leading and implementing large transformational initiatives
Demonstrated ability to elevate HR processes by identifying procedural changes needed to achieve operational excellence and best-in-class service. Proven knowledge on how to facilitate and develop corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives to ensure managers and employees are equipped to meet the organization’s business goals and mission
External Influence & Engagement
Outstanding vendor management and contract negotiation skills to extract maximum value from contracted service and system providers
Robust external risk management skills: in-depth knowledge/management of all relevant compliance and data privacy requirements
Mature network/connections to service/industry leaders in the Shared Service space
Leading Teams
Inspirational leadership qualities, ability to inspire others to follow a common goal
Ability to prioritize and succeed in a highly ambiguous environment with competing demands
A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail

Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to interact effectively with senior executives and senior managers

Strong empathy and change management skills to scale teams through hyper growth and rapid change
Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
