Answers employee questions concerning benefits
Updates employee details received and accurately archives the information for later reference and use
Conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly reconciliation and reporting
Creates benefits packets, ensuring all documents by classification of new hire and documents are up to date
Maintains individual benefits files
Conducts benefits orientations for new employees
Assists employees with qualifying life events to make changes to their benefits enrollments
Sets up benefit deductions in Ceridian, including for new hires, terminations and open enrollment
Audits automatic enrollment and loan process monthly
Reviews new hire deductions and changes during payroll processing
Sends monthly and annual Medicare notices
Assists with open enrollment meetings
Uploads employee FSA reports to Chard Snyder
Manages Cobra administration including creating files, packets, coordinating Cobra applications with carriers, moving participants to appropriate subgroups, tracking and auditing payments monthly
Coordinates event planning for events including Fidelity education, open enrollment and wellness events
Maintains and updates, with complete ownership, internal intranet pages concerning wellness, benefits and payroll
Processes and audits carrier invoices
Manages parking assignments and invoices
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise
Creates and generates reports utilizing the HRIS as required
Assists in audits as required
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and Firm matters
Requirements
5 or more years of in-depth experience managing various benefit programs
Proficient with Ceridian/Dayforce or other HRIS and web-based compensation tools
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Experience reporting extensively on HR systems and HR processes
Project management experience and exposure to management reporting systems
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time-management skills
Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information
Possesses a positive, service oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues
Foresees potential challenges and comes prepared with solutions to solve variety of problems
Applicant must be detail-oriented
Ability to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
Excellent customer service skills
Possesses an overall understanding of accounting
