We currently have a great opportunity for a Recruiting and Professional Development Coordinator to join the Los Angeles office of Cox, Castle & Nicholson. Under the supervision of the Director of Attorney Recruiting, Professional Development and Diversity, the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the recruiting lifecycle for firm-wide lateral attorney recruiting, on-campus law student recruiting, paralegal recruiting, and assisting with staff recruiting (as needed). This position requires the ability to work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice, be proactive in nature, and enjoy the process of helping to recruit great talent.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assisting the Director of Recruiting with attorney hiring, including candidate tracking and communicating with agencies.
Organizing logistics and attending recruiting and summer program social events.
Inputting and continuously updating candidate information in the legal recruiting database.
Scheduling interviews, soliciting feedback post interviews, preparing offer letters and facilitating all other components of the recruiting process.
Planning initiatives and social activities for the summer associate program.
Managing attorney openings on firm’s careers page and various channels.
Assisting in leveraging the Internet and Social Media for recruitment.
Supports the Human Resources team with projects related to position management or employee pre-boarding.
Maintaining the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) database, including entry of certificates and facilitating in-house training programs.
Report metrics to the Director of Attorney Recruiting and other leadership as requested.
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience
Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
Previous legal experience is preferred
