We are successful because we employ and retain good people. To enable us to support our ambitious plans we need to recruit an HR Advisor to join our busy HR team, situated in our Plymouth office. You will join a very supportive team, who are well versed in developing individuals and giving them the training and guidance they need to become successful. So what will you do:-
What you'll do
Support the HR Manager to deliver the HR strategy as directed by the HR Director.
Full use of HR System (HR.Net), including updating records, maintaining records, inputting data and pulling off reports
Maintaining all employee records at every stage and proactively ensuring information is complete and accurate
Managing the operational aspects of annual calendar of activities to facilitate successful completion of annual events such as appraisal procedures, pay review process, promotions process, bonus payments
Maintenance of employee files
Preparation and analysis of ad hoc reports and MI on request
Ensuring an excellent level of client service to both internal clients and external candidates and any other relevant contacts eg: agencies, academic institutions, professional institutions as appropriate.
What we're looking for
Proven and significant experience of HR administrations tasks, preferably within a professional services environment, where you have established a high level of influence.
Experience of supporting high quality and bespoke HR service in a similar professional services environment. Experience of the employment life cycle from authority to recruit through to exit interviews.
Understanding and knowledge of employment law and employment contracts
Experience of using an HR database would be advantageous (full training will be given).
Experience of providing effective process solutions to employees, and an exceptional service.
Able to demonstrate excellent examples of adaptability, initiative and ownership
Highly organised, with excellent planning and administration skills, experienced of working to deadlines, juggling workload and priorities.
Great communicator and able to develop effective working relationships within the HR team and with key Partners and Team Leaders internally
Good team worker and able to work effectively in a multi site business and team environment
