Description
The Senior Recruiter, VSP interviews prospective employees for hourly and salaried positions. Assists with university graduate and professional recruiting. The Senior Recruiter work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
This role is 100% remote. This role is part of the Variable Staffing Pool( VSP), Variable Staffing Pool Humana associates work flexible hours to meet business needs, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum number of hours in any week. VSPs are not eligible for associate bonuses and receive limited benefits.
Responsibilities
The Senior Recruiter, VSP is responsible for full-cycle recruitment from the beginning of the process with conducting strategy sessions with business leaders through the offer stage. The Senior Recruiter will consult with business leaders to ensure alignment on sourcing strategy, posting options, and the strategic plan for the entire lifecycle of the requisition. Additionally, the Senior Recruiter will leverage various technologies including the use of a CRM and screening options within Workday and Modern Hire to enhance the candidate experience. We have several open Senior Recruiter positions as a result of growth on our team. These positions are Variable Staffing Pool (VSP). Successful candidates will bring, complete or exhibit the following:
Fulfill Full life cycle recruitment of a wide variety of positions
Consultative approach that drives productive relationships with all members of the HR team, as well as key stakeholders within various business areas
Adaptive technical ability that utilizes tools available to source, screen, schedule candidates with appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Ability to focus on identifying talent in competitive environment through various digital media, sourcing channels, and local/national outreach efforts
Maintains accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates and search tools working within the organization's applicant tracking system
An engaged team member that participates in a proactive manner
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
2-5 years of experience full life cycle recruitment experience
Experience sourcing passive candidates
Experience in a corporate recruiting and/or staffing environment
Strong work ethic, initiative, and sense of urgency. Proactive with ability to work well within a team
Comfortable with change and the ability to flow to the work as needed
Highly effective communicator with strong consultation skills
Previous experience using applicant tracking systems
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
A Self-Starter and Problem Solver who is motivated by success
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Recruiting experience in the health solutions and/or insurance industries
Workday experience

This position is a Variable Staffing Pool position and can work remotely.
With VSP arrangement, work hours can flex during the year based on work demands. VSP associates do receive limited benefits.
