Job Summary

The Generalist will support HR activities across the division shared services functional teams. There are 6 distinct teams, with 3500 employees. The activities will relate to the tactical execution of HR initiatives such as workforce planning, data analytics and reporting, employee expereince, talent development, and leave of absence management. The teammate in this role will be the Workday, People Metrics Products, and leave of absence subject matter expert, providing training and support in all areas to other HR teammates and people leaders. questions. Manages the compiling of all statistical information used for reporting of performance and regulatory compliance. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

To keep us operating smoothly, you will:

Provides support to HR Business Partners and Director People Leaders in the areas of data & analysis, compensation, performance & talent management, organizational design, and other aspects of the employee journey.

Partners with Talent Management lead and HRBPs for aligned client groups to drive the execution and adoption of new talent practices - inclusive of Talent Assessments, talent slating, and leadership development program nominations - focusing on driving tangible impact and outcomes.

Utilize deployed tools (i.e. People Metrics Products, Workday, Tableau) to create appropriate reports/scorecards for monitoring, auditing, and identifying trends

Collaborate to provide timely communications to and from the HRBP relative to HR Operational activity

Supports assigned client groups to execute cyclical employee activities such as Workforce Planning, Empowered Hour, quarterly HR Org Scorecards reviews, employee sentiment survey analysis, Career Wellbeing, Integrity Training, and other learning initiatives

Coordinate responses to HQ and/or NED on employee data and best practice requests

Be central point of contact for SmartOffice licensing/backgrounds, invoice approvals, and similar follow up

Serve as Leave of Absence Subject Matter Expert - participate on HQ calls, communicate updates to HR and leaders, reporting, investigating and problem solving complex employee issues.

Develop your HR Business Partner capabilities as an advisor/coach to people leaders and an employee experience champion to the workforce

Consistent exercise of demonstrating intellectual curiosity, good judgment, and discretion in matters of significance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
