Detailed Position Responsibilities
Develop and implement talent pipeline development strategies and programs that support a consistent flow of qualified, diverse executive candidates to BMS
Develop and implement strategies and programs that will result in dynamic and superior stakeholder and candidate experiences
Responsible for the development and management of innovative sourcing channels that will deliver diverse candidate pipelines utilizing various sourcing methodologies, channels, tools and technologies
Manage the sourcing/talent pipelining volumes to support the Executive Recruiters to ensure development and maintenance of robust, diverse candidate pipelines through competitive sourcing methodologies
Actively sources, serving as a role model, and coaches Research/Sourcing team members (dependent upon demand) to support development of the overall sourcing capabilities within the team
Liaise with Talent Management and Executive Recruiters to comprehend workforce and hiring demand plans in order to develop sourcing strategies to meet short-term strategic recruitment demand as well as future capabilities needed for BMS
Provide sourcing expertise, external trends and best practices to Talent Acquisition/Talent Management team members as well as other key stakeholders
Partner with Talent Strategy/Innovation and Executive Talent Acquisition team members to provide data and analysis for all reporting/compliance requirements
Responsible for data integrity within the Applicant Tracking, Candidate Relationship Management systems and other related tools
Experience
10 years’ recruiting experience: with the most recent 4 years focused on recruiting/sourcing executive talent within a Pharmaceutical/Biotech environment and/or within an executive retained search firm, strongly preferred
Expert level of knowledge of the strategic life-cycle of recruiting; including, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, candidate attraction, relationship building, reference checking and external networking
Experienced people manager with the ability to manage a team of professionals; coaching, developing and maintaining engagement to ensure delivery of all accountabilities across the team
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of a highly matrixed organization with the ability to work across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and collaborate with colleagues in the Centers of Expertise and peers in Talent Acquisition/Talent Management to deliver high quality executive talent for BMS
Demonstrated ability to develop meaningful and trusted relationships with all levels of an organization
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage deadlines for a variety of active and proactive requisitions and pipeline priorities
Strong understanding of technology and experience using talent acquisition systems, including Applicant Tracking, Candidate Relationship Management, Artificial Intelligence, Social Media Platforms, and other predictive tools
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and influence others to accomplish goals and objectives
Demonstrated ability to work with outsourced providers and contractors, if necessary
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years’ relevant experience
