Description
As the Talent Acquisition Associate Director, Primary Care Organization, you will be responsible for developing and engaging your team and educating the business around the Talent Acquisition processes. You are responsible for partnering with HR leadership to collaborate and formulate consensus, which drives business results. The Associate Director will identify departmental objectives and drive strategic process methodology that will achieve all desired business outcomes. Additionally, the Associate Director is responsible for modeling business consultation capabilities to align required needs with executable business solutions. This position will also manage a team of Talent Acquisition Managers and Physician Recruiting Lead to meet the hiring needs of the Primary Care Organization business area.

The Associate Director position will lead the Talent Acquisition teams aligned to the Primary Care Organization (PCO) and will be highly integrated with human capital development, diversity, workforce planning, compensation and communication. This position will be responsible for developing talent acquisition strategies across the PCO. This position will use a collaborative approach in aligning programs and practices with Humana's innovative human capital model. The Associate Director will:
Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
Lead, manage, and develop direct reports
Support and develop the talent acquisition 'brand' which leverages Humana's commitment to 'lifelong well-being' and 'consumer-focused health care.'
Use influence to raise the aligned business segment's collective knowledge on talent acquisition
Communicate knowledge of proven and emerging best practices to business leaders, hiring manager and recruiters
Work collaboratively with key business aligned partners to strategize and proactively create human capital plans
Applies financial, data analysis, and advanced technical knowledge to forecast and analyze departmental needs and create long-term goals
Manage recruitment budget
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
10 years of talent acquisition experience working within a primary care, healthcare, or in the life sciences industries
5 years managing managers or teams across dispersed locations as well as groups working remotely
Prior experience with new business acquisitions
Prior experience working with senior leaders across an organization to improve existing programs and develop innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies.
Broad HR experience in functional areas such as recruiting, workforce planning, compensation, learning and development, diversity/inclusion, and business planning
Demonstrated ability to interface and develop collaborative relationships with senior executives and influence other leaders to adopt and participate in strategic change initiatives
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience recruiting for physicians and advanced practice providers
Knowledgeable about how to develop and deliver key recruiting programs, new college grad pipelines, internship programs and other ongoing candidate support networks etc.
Strong business and technical acumen, along with experience working as a strategic thought partner to executives, and/or members of a senior management team
Experience operating in a fast paced startup environment
Experience in system implementation, social media strategy and competitive market intel
Large Corporate experience
Executive Search firm experience is a plus
Prior experience with recruitment operations including applicant tracking systems, brand management, automated reporting/tracking (recruiting analytics), and vendor management.
Workday experience a plus
Passion for staying up to date with the latest TA trends and best practices
Master's degree
Additional Information
You will have 4 direct reports, and you will report to a Talent Acquisition Associate Vice President
This position can be work-at-home/remote
Up to 25% travel is expected
