Position Summary

The Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) Team supports the RoundPoint organization and the Human resources team by serving as the subject matter experts for employee life cycle processes and procedures, the HRIS (Paylocity), and other HR systems and data.

The Human Resources Shared Services Specialist is responsible for supporting the administrative needs to the HR Shared Services team. The incumbent will be responsible for fostering solid working relationships with various teams including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Compensation, HR Business Partners, Payroll & Benefits, and IT to ensure smooth and seamless experiences for employees throughout the employee life cycle from pre-hire to termination.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for administrative processing of all new hires and internal employee changes including data entry into HRIS, internal pipelines, and background checking systems.

Runs manual pre-employment screening checks against various databases as required by federal and state regulations.

Completes new hire onboarding in HRIS, Paylocity, including EVerify of I-9 and Visa compliance

Completes new hire and employee change checklists.

Ensures all personnel files are complete by sending new hire paperwork and internal offers via DocuSign and filing in Dynafile promptly upon completion.

Administration of Dynafile to ensure employment documentation is filed appropriately.

Create and maintain employee records in Paylocity ensuring the highest level of data integrity for reporting and payroll purposes.

In partnership with HR Shared Services Analyst, HR Shared Services Manager, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, ensures timely completion of required paperwork throughout employee life cycle.

Assists with email responses in HR Shared Services inbox.

Complies with all State and Federal laws and regulations.

Assists with mergers and acquisitions ensuring data accuracy.

May assist with legal investigations by pulling documents from Dynafile and data from Paylocity

Maintain and update internal policies and procedures with regards to HRIS, new hire procedures, etc.

May assist with minor payroll and benefits questions as required

Specific skills, knowledge and abilities:

Advanced customer service skills and a desire to help with projects that may be outside the scope of what is considered normal.

Ability to give and receive constructive feedback on how to improve employee life cycle experience for both internal and external customers

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse population.

Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm for serving our applicants, managers, and team members.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar products.

Ability to learn and become a subject matter expert in new HR systems including Paylocity, HireRight, McLean, Cornerstone, etc.

Ability to work within a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Ability to meet multiple deadlines and identify/solve problems creatively.

Desire to learn HR best practices, employment laws and regulations, and company benefits and policies

Discretion with confidential information.

Required:

Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School

6 months-1 year of related experience and/or training; but a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
