At Aon we are currently seeking an analyst or consultant to join our Health & Benefits Innovation Group, focusing primarily on pharmacy benefit management. (Virtual Opportunity) Your Impact As A Health and Benefits Analyst- Pharmacy Benefits Management Job Responsibilities:- Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of pharmacy benefits, developing knowledge on best practices and market trends, and contributing to the developments and enhancement of new and existing products and services- Serve as pharmacy finance expert, analyzing cost proposals during pharmacy RFP projects- Assist senior consultants with marketing and sales efforts and work directly with senior consultants on client projects (RFP, audit, benchmarking, etc.)- Develop client deliverables- Educate Health and Benefits colleagues on pharmacy products and services- Assist with consulting in the areas of: benefit and health care strategy, plan design, pricing strategy bid/selection projects, health plan management including vendor management, negotiations, problem resolution, and regional/local interface, audits, data analytics and innovation team initiatives- Perform project management- Act as project consultant on targeted client/prospects- Take initiative on building internal and external relationships Required Experience:- Experience in pharmacy or health benefit consulting- Consulting and project management experience and business knowledge a plus for Analyst position and a requirement for Consultant position- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel (advanced proficiency), Power Point, Access and Word- Ability to travel Education:- Bachelors or equivalent years of industry experience. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
