POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, maintains attendance on all plant employees, tracks FMLA and vacations, and manages the new hire process.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in business preferred. Three years of administrative or HR experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Must be able to handle information of a confidential nature. Must be computer literate with a variety of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must have the ability to multitask and deal with frequent interruptions.
Frequent and critical contact with all employees (non-exempt and exempt).
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain human resource information systems for all personnel changes (new hires, terminations, progression increases, etc.) following established procedures.
Maintain attendance records on all plant employees. Issue attendance warnings in accordance with established work rules.
Input vacations, doctors’ notes, and FMLA into Kronos.
Assist in weekly payroll processing.
Schedule interview sessions, assist new hires in completing onboarding paperwork, conduct new hire orientation.
Maintain and audit all I-9 forms for the facility.
Post bid jobs and bid results.
Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
