Description
The Compensation Professional 2 performs ongoing administration of calculating and paying incentives and sales commissions. The Compensation Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
The Compensation Professional 2 is a dynamic role that requires a highly motivated and intellectually agile individual. In addition to leveraging your analytical and technical skills, you will be asked to apply business and finance acumen to complex business challenges.
The Compensation Professional 2 will be responsible for the following:
Administration of sales and targeted incentive plans including validating incentive calculations and using root cause analysis to identify system defects and seek remedy.
Become the SME of the incentive plans (i.e., 150 comp plans for nearly 6k associates)
Have the ability to review and understand complex compensation data
Tailor messages based on the audience (i.e., Sales Operations, Sales Leaders, Sales Associates, IT, Data Owners, etc.)
Perform user acceptance testing on incentive applications
Triage 2 Support for all Compensation inquires
Presentation Preparation for multiple levels of audience, including VP presentations (i.e., how are plans preforming, what were the outcomes of pay planning, etc.)
Identify opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of new or enhanced processes or procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Communications or another similar field
Prior incentive compensation experience
Moderate level of Excel experience
Demonstrated project management experience
Analytical reporting experience
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Ability to tell a story, draw insights and make recommendations utilizing data
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering compensation solutions in support of business objectives
Strong research, analytical and problem solving abilities
Dedication to accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a deadline-driven organization
Previous experience working within a team-based atmosphere with shared responsibility
Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments while working with various departments to obtain data
Highly organized and self-driven with an ability to meet multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Compensation, Sales and/or HR administration experience
User design experience
Previous Workday, Varicent/ICM, and Callidus experience
Organizational development experience
Strong business acumen
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Directly applicable knowledge of the health solutions industry
