We are looking for a Temporary Director of Human Resources to help provide the support to the Trust.

The temporary HR Director will be supporting the trust, to lead the planning and delivery of the Care Organisation's people capacity, and capability to support positive staff experience and high–quality, cost–effective care in line with the Care Organisation's People Strategy and Group Strategy service delivery objective.
This Position is initially for 6 Months based at the Royal Oldham Hospital, rate of pay will be GBP47.94 per hour, working five days per week Monday to Friday
Tasks & Overview of Responsibilities
To contribute to the development of the Group People Strategy and lead the implementation and monitoring of local delivery within the Care Organisation.
Responsible for all aspects of people agenda for the Care Organisation, ensuring it meet all its statutory and Group obligations and will be the nominated people advisor to the Care Organisation Management Board.
To ensure that all HR services within the Care Organisation are delivered in line with all relevant legislation, statutory, policy and professional requirements
To line manage the HR Business Partners within the Care Organisation, developing succession plans and supporting the development of talented individuals across the team. Generate a culture where empowerment is the norm and decision–making is allocated appropriately, allowing every individual to feel able to make a valuable contribution.
To ensure robust performance management arrangements are in place for all staff within the team, to include appraisal, absence management and personal/professional development
Essential Qualifications
MCIPD qualified
FCIPD
Demonstrable CPD as recognised by professional body
Post–graduate studies in HRM and/or employment law
Masters level degree in relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge, training, and experience in a senior HR role
Knowledge
A demonstrable track record of achievement as a HR Director or Deputy within a hospital/care system or have substantial and proven experience at a senior level in HR within a fast paced, unionised environment.,
Recent NHS Acute workforce experience.
Must have a proven track record of in the development and implementation of effective workforce plans within hospital/care system. Holding an in–depth knowledge and thorough understanding of the NHS Workforce agenda.
The post holder will provide strong leadership and direction to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the full range of HR and OD services within the Care Organisation.
The post holder will drive activity to support the delivery of high–quality sustainable services through a workforce that is fit for the future.
Reporting to the Care Organisation Chief Officer, the post holder will have significant experience in leading and developing high performing teams and will possess both professional HR and leadership skills to deal effectively with highly complex issues to ensure that strategy and policy is implemented, and performance is well–managed within the Care Organisation.
The post holder will be required to work across the Group and externally with system partners and stakeholders, supporting and on occasion leading on specific pieces of work across the people agenda. The post holder will need to ensure systems and processes are in place to comply with relevant legislation and governance requirements
