The Position

The Talent Management Specialist assists in the implementation and execution of talent management activities that are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and strategy and aimed to assess, develop and manage the organization’s talent pool. The role also track progress on development and retention initiatives and supports the evaluation of the effectiveness of the organization's talent strategies. The role reports into the Director Talent Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the design, development, implementation and execution of talent management programs and initiatives that drive desired (leadership) behavior, increase employee engagement and mobility and accelerate performance to deliver business results.
  • Prepares and maintains a variety of written documentation, to include policies and procedures, reports and presentations, training or job aids and develops and/or conducts training on talent related topics and systems.
  • Serves as a key point of contact to the HR Business Partners, our EU Talent Partners and the business for talent management programs and technology, addressing questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supports the talent review/succession planning process including coordination of calibration sessions, assistance with creation and tracking progress of development plans, monitoring succession plans, and maintaining talent profiles.
  • Works closely with Talent Development, HR Business Partners and line management to support the execution of follow up initiatives, coming from the yearly talent processes like the Talent Review process.
  • Assists in measuring and assessing the impact of all Talent Management processes – provides talent analytics including diversity metrics on our key talent population.
  • Supports development and execution of initiatives to drive internal mobility within the organization in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team (e.g. career fairs)
  • Assists in International Mobility processes, ensuring coordination and communication between all internal parties involved (e.g. Internal Mobility, C&B, associate, line manager)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Business degree ideally in Psychology, Management, Business Administration;
  • Previous work experience is minimum of 5 years, of which minimum of 3 years in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition or Talent Development
  • Has worked previously in an international matrix;
  • Process-minded & driven: able to understand and oversee a process from beginning to end in a complex matrix organization
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytic, energetic and self-motivated individual
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving
  • Resourceful in overcoming roadblocks that hinder processes
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with others inside and outside of own team
