Reporting to the Director, Strategic Programs & Transformation, the Senior Manager, Leadership Development will play a critical role supporting the continual evolution of BBM's Graduate Leadership Program, work in collaboration with leaders across BBM and corporate HR to build and execute talent acquisition and development strategies for critical hot skills and new growth categories, and support our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion program to improve the representation of women and visible minorities. Working directly with senior leaders and executives from across BBM, the Senior Manager, Leadership Development will play a pivotal role in enabling the transformation of BBM by helping to ensure we have the talent required for our future.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Develop and execute on grad and intern talent recruitment, retention, and development strategies *Develop and execute on BBM specific critical hot skills and new growth categories talent recruitment, retention, and development strategies *Facilitate sourcing and selection of key roles for developing talent within the business *Support HR partners and senior leadership team with analyzing trends in talent, as well as creating initiatives to support retention and development *Engage with the grad and hot skills communities internally and externally to understand needs and wants, to help inform and refine BBM's value proposition and ability to attract, engage & retain the right talent *Through consultation with hiring leaders, industry, peer organizations, educational institutions and corporate HR to understand trends, best practices and unique opportunities to expand BBM's reach and access to a broad and diverse talent pool
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS
*University graduate or post-graduate degree *Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking abilities *Knowledge of leadership development, organizational functions, selection and placement *Strong Project management skills and skilled at leading cross-functional working teams. *Excellent relationship building and networking skills -ability to establish and grow networks within Bell and represent Bell as a top employer on university campuses *Need to accommodate travel and flexible working hours
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*HR/Leadership development/Coaching experience an asset *Business and financial acumen *Conscientiousness - a highly organized individual that always closes the loop with internal and external partners
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
