Role and Responsibilities
Employee Relations / Grievances Handling: Act as an interface between the Employees and the Management and sort out the grievances effectively, promote community and welfare developmental activities. Design and implement various processes to effectively assist employee issues and facilitate functional inter-departmental meetings.
Monitor compliance to statutory provisions, liaise with factory and labour department regularly to address queries, check reports on non-compliance practices and initiate corrective steps, take legal action, if necessary, to ensure smooth functioning of plant operations and avoid objections from government authorities. Ensure facilitated adherence to statutory compliances, policies, and procedures as per the company’s norms and statutory provisions.
Liaison & Representation before Labour court/ Industrial Tribunal & various Govt. bodies. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Govt & Local Leaders). Identify Compliance Risks in order to respond to Labour issues and cases. Maintains a strong network of external specialists and peers – able to benchmark Entity Labour Relations practice in the market and sensitive to both threats and opportunities for Entity brought about by external factors i.e. legislative / regulatory changes or changes in market practice.
Coordination and Management of Inquiries and Inspections by Labour Offices/Dept. Coordinate employment related communications with external stakeholders, including employment regulators.
Will be required to work with local Plant Management / Leadership Regional Leadership & Global Leadership to drive HR agenda independently.
Responsible for ensuring employee welfare and facilities as per the organisation’s as well as legal standards.
Partnering on Corporate Social Responsivity initiatives and support driving initiatives in neighbouring communities.
A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes. For use in businesses that are operating in the HR Partnership Model.

Required Qualifications
This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & Employee Human Resource Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college.
10 years of experience in Plant HR Business Partner roles, including the areas of Employee Relations and Talent Management.
Knowledge of Local Language (i.e. Gujarati) can be an added advantage
