Description
The Talent Management Senior develops, implements, and evaluates employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs in a combination of disciplines such as management development, talent management, succession planning, technical or nontechnical training, or e-learning. The Talent Management Senior works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Talent Management (TM) Senior leads leadership development programs for enterprise leaders, assesses needs and results, develops new programs, manages and modifies existing programs. Advises leadership to develop functional strategies on matters of significance for executive development. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Responsibilities
The TM Senior will design and execute talent development programs and experiences to support organizational needs including executive level leadership development and enterprise development initiatives. The TM Senior will collaborate with partners and stakeholders across the organization to proactively deliver aligned solutions that provide real value to the intended audience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Act as key advisor and product owner of executive leadership development program strategy and design, including driving implementation and participant engagement.
Enable integration of talent development initiatives with Humana strategy.
Interface and collaborate with executive level leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders.
Use data analytics to evaluate and measure effectiveness of talent practices to drive continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships, work products and contracts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or related field.
5 years of complex program development and project/program management experience (consultation, design, development and implementation) for executive level audiences.
Proven execution skills including 2 years change management, marketing, communications and influencer strategies.
Successful track-record building and maintaining relationships, as well as reputational capital, with clients, vendors, business partners and executive level audiences.
Experience in developing and executing a strategy.
Expertise in Human Centered Design.
Strong use of curiosity to make connections between assigned work and corporate strategy to create alignment and realize synergies.
Demonstrated executive presence.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or related field.
Experience in Human Resources, Leadership Development, Human Performance Improvement and Adult Learning Theory, as well as experience using various talent management, learning and leadership development approaches.
Knowledge of talent development industry, as well as external learning solutions and development resources.
