SUMMARY:
The HR Communications Specialist is an internal communications consultant who leads communication and engagement activities on critical projects. This role will develop and implement communication plans and tactics across all HR areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Subject matter expert (SME) on all thing's communication (written, graphic, data visualization, etc.)
Develop and execute communication strategies and plans
Create content across multiple channels, including Intranet, external Career Site, e-mail announcements, newsletters, videos, LinkedIn ads, PPT presentations and talking points, digital signage, etc.
Ensure HR content is purposeful, compelling, and tailored for intended audiences as well as consistent with the company's employee brand guidelines
Partner with Corporate Communications team for translation process for HR communications
Manage email distribution for HR communications, including obtaining distribution lists (as needed), and formatting and sending emails
Implement measures to determine effectiveness of communications programs, tracks and create plans to improve results
Edits and proofreads communications from other sources in HR
Manages communication assets and coordinates distribution
Supports HR initiatives with communications needed for projects. Develops and adheres to project timelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 3 years of communications experience, preferably in a corporate setting and supporting HR
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills with knowledge of communications tools and technology
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement performance strategies across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; Effective time management and prioritization skills; Detail oriented with focus on quality; Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive positions

Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year.
