, has an immediate opening for a HR Specialist working for our client in Denver, Colorado. The HR Specialist position offers versatility for individuals that like working in a fast paced, team environment. This company provides early education to children and provides great training to teachers/caretakers.
HR Specialist Duties:
Attend career/job fairs to add to candidate pool
Fill short-term and long-term positions
Attend career/job fairs to add to candidate pool
Post and maintain job boards, screen applicants to ensure they meet requirements, conducting interviews as appropriate
Conducting background and reference checks
Managing the orientation and onboarding process
Prepare new employee files and ensure compliance
Providing internal reports to department leads
General HR support including new hire paperwork, data entry, training and benefits enrollment
Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
Associates Degree (Bach preferred) and 3 years' related HR experience specifically focused on recruitment/HR
Ability to maintain confidentiality to company
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and busy environments
Interactions with diverse populations - many individuals first language may not be English
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient with Word, Excel, Windows and capable of learning new software
High attention to detail, organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position starts at $18.000 per hour but can pay higher. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience. Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered include:
