Description

The Senior Associate Relations Professional coordinates employee relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices. The Senior Associate Relations Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate Relations Professional develops and implements policies and procedures, including grievance procedures and exit interviews. Researches and responds to employee questions, concerns and grievances. Maintains employee relations records. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
3 years conducting investigations, including those which are more complex and involve serious misconduct and/or behavioral issues
5 years of experience utilizing technology to access, enter, and manage data
5 years of Human resources and employee relations experience
Demonstrated ability to navigate Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality while handling all business processes
Comprehensive knowledge of EEO laws (Federal, state, local) and their application to employment practices
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Demonstrated ability to prepare written communications, documentation, and reports based on the analysis of data
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and precisely both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and collaborations with business partners and stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise
Demonstrated success in managing a high case volume/workload
Demonstrated ability to multi-task meeting deadlines and goals
Demonstrated team player and collaborator independently while working as a team
Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.If progressed to offer, candidates will be required to:
Provide proof of full vaccination OR
Commit to weekly testing, following all CDC protocols, OR
Provide documentation for a medical or religious exemption consideration.
Beginning January 14, associates will be responsible for the costs of the tests. Medical and religious exemptions will be available. Requests for these exemptions should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled first day of work. This policy will not supersede local laws.


Preferred Qualifications


SPHR/SCP Certification
Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or related area
