Job Summary:Acting as a strategic business partner, the position will provide human resources consultation to all levels of leadership and employees for assigned department(s). The Human Resources Manager will build relationships with leadership and their respective organizations and will serve as a catalyst in delivering HR solutions that support the specific needs of each assigned department(s) and overall business objectives. Supports key initiatives, change management and objectives for each functional area. Partners with corporate HR to assist with various projects and ensures that these initiatives support the culture, employees and objectives of their respected departments. Provide consulting to management on general HR matters, employee relations, training and organizational and leadership development. In addition, responsible for full life cycle recruitment activity to include: requisition processing, sourcing and screening of candidates, interview coordination, candidate selection and offer generation and delivery. Partners with Corporate HR/Shared Services to deliver and implement solutions in the areas of Benefits, Compensation and HRIS. Responsibilities:u2022 Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. u2022 Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.u2022 Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. u2022 Partners with the legal department as needed/required. u2022 Counsel exempt and non-exempt employees with performance problems.u2022 Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. u2022 Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. u2022 Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures and workforce planning. u2022 Participates in staff meetings to gain insight into HR business and strategic plans to better develop Human Resource strategies and actions to support the business goals.u2022 Counsel Management on individual promotions, position creation, job content, and job descriptions.u2022 Responsible for full life cycle recruitment activity to include: requisition processing, sourcing and screening of candidates, interview coordination, candidate selection and offer generation and delivery.u2022 Guide hiring managers and candidates through the interview process to ensure a positive experience for all, consult with managers on selection and respectfully release candidates not selected for openings.u2022 Collaborate with HR/Compensation to develop and deliver competitive offers to candidates.u2022 Evaluates training needs and effectiveness of training courses.u2022 Researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs to meet the changing needs of the organization.u2022 Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. u2022 Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). u2022 Conduct onboarding and off boarding activities including orientation and exit interviews.u2022 Work with Corporate/Shared Services functions as needed to resolve any administrative employee issues.u2022 Support and participate in organization-wide employee initiatives for Performance Management, Open Enrollment, Wellness & all other HR or company initiativesu2022 Manage employee engagement activities and events Education/Qualifications:u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree requiredu2022 Minimum of 5 years related experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment of change and competing priorities with 7-10 years of overall HR experience strongly preferred. u2022 Generalist experience in all aspects of HR, including employee relations, talent management, talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, organizational development, employee relations, performance management and training.u2022 Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws and compliance implications.u2022 Experience in Manufacturing/Operations environment preferred.u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.u2022 Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability for negotiation and influencing change and facilitate conflict resolution.u2022 Demonstrated ability to function as a strategic business partner linking achievement of business goals to successful implementation of HR actions, programs, or processes.u2022 Travel maybe required 10 to 20%
