Against that backdrop, we are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking leader for the newly-created role of Director, Talent Acquisition - Corporate and Campus Programs. In this matrix role, you will be responsible for setting and leading the Talent Acquisition strategy in support of IT, Corporate Shared Services, and Campus. You will be part of the segment HR and the Talent Acquisition leadership teams and will work closely with segment leaders at the Executive, Divisional, and Market levels.
This position will report to the Associate Vice President, Talent Acquisition, and will directly lead a team of Talent Acquisition Managers/Leads, with total headcount rollup of roughly 30 associates. This position can be located anywhere within the lower 48 states with a strong preference to Louisville, KY. A modest amount of travel (generally 10% or less) should be expected.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as strategic talent partner with respective Management Team leaders, Segment Presidents, Senior Vice President/Vice President executives, and the HR Business Leadership Group across Corporate and Campus functions
Thoroughly analyze candidate lifecycle ensuring optimal efficiency and scalability; identify opportunities for improvement and innovative solution leveraging technology and building influence across Enterprise/HR organization
Partner with business stakeholders leveraging hiring trends and workforce analysis to determine hiring demand and create multi-year recruiting strategy
Evolve Campus and early engagement strategies identifying partnerships with institutions while embedding diversity and inclusion initiatives to meet intern and full-time hiring demands
Lead, develop and inspire team of full-life cycle recruiters with a focus on candidate experience, results focus and inclusion
Work collaboratively with various functional department heads on workforce planning, compensation alignment, and communications
Build and lead the recruitment social media strategy for each aligned Segment
Build strong, credible relationships with Segment senior executives and leaders, and act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
Use influence to raise the Segment's collective knowledge on talent acquisition
Communicate knowledge of proven and emerging best practices to business leaders, hiring manager and recruiters
Apply financial, data analysis, and advanced technical knowledge to forecast and analyze departmental needs and create long-term goals
Manage recruitment budget
Key Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have extensive talent acquisition experience (typically 10 years) with experience leading multi-level and geographically dispersed recruiting team, along with several years leading the Campus recruiting function for multiple programs on a national scale. This person will also have a record of success working with senior leaders across an organization to develop effective recruiting strategies, and to improve existing programs. In addition, this candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (required), and will be a strong leader of people with proven success in expanding and elevating the capabilities and performance of the team.
In addition to the above, the following professional qualifications and personal attributes are also sought:
Strategic thought partnership and ability to learn the business, helping to shape the long-term recruiting strategy to support business growth
Experience bringing recruitment best practices and innovation into their company/teams, especially within IT and Campus functions
Proven track record of building differentiated Campus recruiting strategy and early engagement programs
Current or recent experience in a large, highly matrixed company (i.e., Fortune 250), with proven ability to collaborate with and influence leaders and key stakeholders to adopt and participate in strategic change initiatives
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences
Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and win their co-ownership in the outcome
A record of success in managing change in a fast-paced, startup environment by leading and energizing others, modeling adaptability, and inspiring strong organizational performance through periods of transformation, ambiguity, and complexity.
Passion for staying up to date with the latest TA trends and best practices
A record of success in attracting, developing, and motivating top talent from inside and outside of the organization, and preparing direct reports for expanded responsibilities
MBA is a strong plus, as is a professional HR certification (i.e., SPHR, SHRM-SPC, etc.)
