Purpose of the Country HR Manager France role:
Act as Strategic HR Business partner for the Country Chair and Senior Business leaders of Shell France
Focal point for both Business HR as well as leaders in Shell France to translate the globally set people strategy and operationalizing it locally
Ensure the execution and delivery of business specific people agendas within a local context, including compliance with local legislation and regulations
Designing and implementing country specific ER/IR strategies (including full responsibility for CLA negotiations/results, individual case management and compliance requirements)
Accountable for value creation and protection
Drive Employee Engagement and local Change Management
Key integrator between different delivery groups in Shell´s new HR model and ensuring the new operating model works effectively
Responsibilities include:
Integrated capability building for different lines of businesses with local Policy advisor, ER/IR advisor and HR consultants
Driving local integration with focus on commerciality and winning capability building
Interface with country leadership and HR stakeholders
Execute the integrated capability plan and people agenda for Shell in France
Diagnose senior leadership team performance needs and required interventions
Support the local Talent agenda
Incorporating external perspectives and functional knowledge to competitively deliver the people agenda
Coordinate and ensure organizational capability to help drive performance now and in the future
Protection of the Shell brand/reputation & value proposition; safeguard Shell´s license to operate
Represent HR in the France CCT meetings, the local coordination Leadership team.
Drive organizational performance
Accountable for effective consultation with the local staff councils

Direct reports: 6
Collaboration with senior leaders at VP/EVP level to execute the business and people agenda
Complexity of Country and Business Agenda and associated People Agenda (Value Creation / Value Protection). Multiple line of business complexity, all with their own change journey.
Reporting Hierarchy: VP HR Netherlands & BeNeFrux Operations (based in the Netherlands)
Size of population portfolio: approximately 350, 7 locations including 1 manufacturing plant
Skills and experience required
Generalist HR senior professional with extensive experience in a broad variety of HR functions
Experience in working in a matrix organization and ability to navigate in a complex international environment
Significant Business Partnering experience with strong senior stakeholder management skills
Proven track record as a facilitator of organizational change. Organizational health/capability diagnostic and design skills
Strong coaching, influencing and negotiation skills.
Data analytics skills to derive insights and meaning.
Strategic thinking and commercial mindset
Accountability to co-lead the business.
Proactivity in managing a healthy ER/IR environment
Fluent in French and English
