The Role:
As Pure’s Manager, Performance & Talent Management, you will contribute towards the implementation of two key pillars of our Talent Ecosystem: Performance Management, and Talent Review & Succession Management.
The main goals of this role are:
Contribute to the development of a global, transformational talent strategy, and ensure the readiness of talent pipelines support the growth of the business.
Promote Pure’s high achievement, feedback and coaching culture by contributing to the on-going, always-on evolution of our holistic Performance Management programs to ensure our employees are developing and our business needs are met.
What you will bring to the team…
The why, what and how of performance management. Enable the implementation of the quarterly steps of our annual performance cycle by driving the planning process, key milestones, and the day to day execution. Ensure appropriate tracking and reporting for key activities. Your experience in project management will be crucial to delivering high quality results.
Talent review & Succession. You’ll collaborate with the Talent Management team to introduce and drive a strong talent review & succession program that identifies and reduces gaps in key positions and leadership roles. Develop and track the relevant talent metrics, data and KPI's to monitor succession management process execution and drive data-based decisions.
Accelerate readiness of people leaders and top talents to grow together with Pure. You will assist the director of Talent Management, leaders and HRPBs, with the development plans for different talent pools, leaders, and succession candidates identified during Executive Talent Reviews and monitor progress against plans and provide accountability for on-time completion, and report progress to leadership and global Talent Management team.
Subject matter expert. You will provide SME guidance, education, and training to enable quality execution and consistency of processes set by the Talent Management Team. You will be considered a hands-on advisor throughout the performance review cycle and talent review process.
HR technology liaison. You will serve as the point of contact for the employee and line manager experience, partnering with the director of Talent Management, to leverage Workday as they play their roles in our Holistic Performance Management Process and Talent Review & Succession Process. In this capacity, you will be a key liaison with our HR IT Technology team.
Context and trends. Demonstrate an understanding of key trends and developments which influence Performance Management and Talent & Succession Management today. You will propose improvements and enhancements by recognizing internal gaps and new tendencies in the market. Develop and update guidelines around Performance Management and Talent & Succession according to Pure’s business strategy or as results of shifts in business needs.
Managing communications and content design. You will develop and deliver content to be presented to key stakeholders as it relates to Performance Management, and Talent Reviews & Succession Management processes. Desing communication toolkits and training concepts for the relevant user (HRBPs, Managers and Employees) for the Performance Management Cycle.
Who You'll Work With
You will develop a trusted partnership relationship with the following teams:
HRBP Team, to enable the implementation of our Holistic Performance Management Program and Talent Review & Succession Program. Working closely with the HRBPs will help Pure to ensure cross-functional alignment across the globe.
Rewards Team: In partnership with the reward team, manage the delivery of the annual performance cycle with a specific emphasis on performance metrics.
Internal Communications Team. Partner with internal communications to ensure a robust communications strategy for Performance Management Program and Talent strategies within HR and BUs, functions and geographies.
Learning & Development, to support initiatives related to coaching, constructive feedback and any other capability building related to Performance and Talent Strategies.
IT Team, to guarantee the business processes designed around talent programs are reflected on the technology side in Workday and/or any other IT platform defined by the company.
Desired Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, advanced degree is a plus.
8 years of HR experience at a fast paced, customer centric organization.
Hands on experiences in performance management and talent review cycles. Program management experience on driving large-scale, transformational change programs.
Prior experiences in corporate and/or professional services focused on cultural transformational initiatives is highly valued.
Technically savvy.
Competences & Learning Agility associated behaviors
Strong problem-solver who can quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply to support diagnostics and analyses.
Ability to understand the perspectives of varied stakeholder groups
Ability to cope with a role that involves the transactional and operational as well as big picture thinking.
Understanding process requirements, consequences, and operational effectiveness through each process, providing (when required) improvements and resolutions to better enable the business.
Ability to work effectively with people at different levels in the organization and multi-disciplinary teams across continents / time zones.
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing in an impactful manner.
Executing for results: Ability to exercise a high degree of accuracy with multiple details. Strong ability to multi-task and respond effectively to changing priorities and demands.
Flexibility: Although strong & disciplined execution skills are required, ability to manage ambiguity with an open mind will be a plus to operate in a continuously changing environment.
