Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager – People Organisation (12 Month Fixed Term – London or South East, UK – hybrid working)We’re hiring!Aon is looking for an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager to join our UK Talent Acquisition team. The Early Careers (EC) team have responsibility for attracting, selecting and on-boarding top talent from across UK schools, colleges and universities; and developing them in partnership with the Talent Development team during their first 12 month at Aon. We recruit around 350 new colleagues into Apprentice, Internship, Industrial Placement and Graduate roles annually, who join around 15 UK offices. The role will report to the UK & EMEA Early Careers Talent Acquisition Lead and will oversees a team of 2-3 EC Business Partners who are focused on attraction and sourcing; alongside the EC Business Partner responsible for selection and in partnership the EC Development Team. We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in Early Careers recruitment and who wants to build their career within Human Resources / People Organisation. The role will work across all of Aon’s Solution Lines in a high-profile team which works closely senior leaders from across the People Organisation and the business. It provides a good opportunity to work within a successful global business and within a large people team, who are passionate about attracting and developing a diverse pool of talent to lead our business in the future.The role will be a hybrid role based in London or one of our South East offices, with the opportunity work flexibility, including from home for up to 4 days per week. Support with the integration of businesses acquired by Aon into our EC programmes.Lead and support the EC Recruitment Business partner team:With organising all aspects of the assessment centres and final interviews, identifying the best candidates to invite, and coordinating hiring manager availability. To ensure the selection process provides an excellent candidate experience and utilises best case practice in selecting top talent, including partnering with Aon Assessment Solutions (formerly cut-e) on process improvements.With building high-level candidate engagement through keep in touch activity and the onboarding process to minimise the number candidates withdrawing from the programmes.With delivery of recruitment and development activities at peak times.Responsibility for developing and planning Aon’s EC marketing and attraction strategy, including Aon’s EC Website and other marketing materials; planning and managing insight days and other bespoke career events; building and maintain careers service relationships, job board advertising, Aon’s attendance at University and School Careers Event supported by other Early Careers Team members as needed.Attend virtual and in person attraction events representing Aon and our Early Careers programmes; liaising with hiring managers and graduates attending university, college and school career events and insight events.Responsible for ensuring wide coverage and promotion of all Early Careers vacancies through Aon’s careers site and refreshing visibility on social media, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.Manage the business involvement with candidate selection including hiring managers to assess candidates as assessment centres and final interviews.Facilitate virtual assessment centres, ensuring the smooth running of the events, positive candidate and assessor experience, and reinforcing best practice for interviews and selection with the business stakeholders.Support with Assessment Centre and Interview follow up with candidates and the business, including offering and rejecting candidates, initiating offer process, background checks and other onboarding activities via HR Global Operations, and with candidate follow-up to ensure successful conclusion.About you As an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Educated to Degree standard or equivalent Experience in Early Careers or experienced hire recruitment Knowledge of social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and social sharing Proficient in the use of MS Office applications in particular Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent time management Comfortable managing a diverse workload with the ability to re-prioritise Excellent communication skills Ability to build effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers and colleagues Ability to ensure all clients and candidates needs are met Problem solving skillsAbility to work on your own initiative to resolve queries in a timely and satisfactory wayWhat we’re looking for in youWe are seeking an individual with a genuine interest in early careers recruitment and who wants to build their career within HR.
