An Addison Group client is looking for a Recruiter to join their team in New Jersey!
The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions. These responsibilities include but are not limited to development of job descriptions and job postings, sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing of candidates, pre-employment screening and onboarding.
Essential Functions
• Responsible for Full Life Cycle Recruitment.
• Facilitate recruitment process for all departments.
• Partner and work collaboratively with hiring managers to serve as a primary source of recruitment strategy, consultation, and education.
• Development and creation of job descriptions and job postings.
• Responsible for sourcing and recruiting exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Generate qualified candidates through a variety of cost-effective recruiting efforts including but not limited to referrals, internal job posting, online searches, social media sites, networking, industry specific job boards, industry specific organizations/associations, search firms, job fairs and colleges.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline of prospective candidates.
• Pre-screening and interviewing. Ensure compliance with company policy as well as federal government contract requirements.
• Make recommendations to hiring managers and coordinate interviews.
• Employer Branding:
o Ensure the recruitment process creates and enhances a positive candidate experience.
• Negotiation of compensation and completing offer letters.
• Pre-employment Screening:
o Background checks
o Drug Screening
o Reference checks
• Onboarding of new hires per company procedures.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 year’s recruiting experience (preferred manufacturing environment).
• Knowledge of recruitment practices, methods, and employment law.
• Able to complete work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and with many interruptions/changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and personnel.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet Applications and social media.
• The ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated and be able to interact with employees at all levels.
• Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Strong ethics and the ability to keep information confidential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
Desired Skills
• High volume Recruiting including office and production positions.
• Previous experience in manufacturing.
Education
• High School Graduate.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
