Purpose :
Under the leadership of the Human Resources Director Benelux, the HR Business Partner Netherlands will act as a strategic Business Partner for the organization based in the Netherlands on strategic HR matters including workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness and change management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Act as a strategic business partner for the NL organization,
Work closely with the Business leaders based in the Netherlands on strategic HR matters
Drive organizational changes in the Netherlands
Partner with local, Benelux and global HR colleagues and COE's on cross-functional initiatives to build and implement HR programs and policies
Implement HR strategies and initiatives in line with global and market business strategies
Support the implementation of the HR Operating Model in the Netherlands
Drive programs that attract, retain and develop competitively superior leaders and team members
Proactively drive the talent strategy to develop talent, strengthen and diversify the talent pipeline for critical roles
Leverage the organizational and cultural strategies to support ongoing innovation and change
Contribute to positive social climate in managing industrial relations with the local Dutch Works Council(s) Skills/Knowledge Required :
Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. Further education in change management or coaching is desirable.
Minimum 5 years experience in an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner role in an international matrix environment.
Experience in playing a crucial role in a similar HR Operating model, with strategic HR Business Partners, remote Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Diversity & Inclusion) and centralized Capability Centers.
Ability to lead and influence, coach and challenge senior leaders in a respectful way,
Good networking and (external and internal) stakeholder management
Strong experience in driving industrial relations (Works Councils) in the Netherlands
Change enabler
Ability to navigate in complexity and ambiguity (familiar with VUCA concept) with a high level of resilience
Strong balance between strategic and pragmatic thinking
Good knowledge of Dutch labour law
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both written and verbal
Strong identification with BMS values: Integrity, Innovation, Passion, Urgency, Accountability and Inclusion
Self-motivated and self-aware. Recognizes own strengths and weaknesses and is committed to personal development
Strong team player: ability to work independently and willing to communicate and keep close to the team
Computer literacy, with good knowledge of HR Management systems

A quick thinker with a positive mindset
Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry is an asset
