We are filling one temporary position, and it can be filled in any of our three Alliance offices: Merced, Salinas, or Scotts Valley, CA
ABOUT THIS TEMP POSITION
This is a temporary position and the length of assignment is estimated to be until June 30, 2022. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will:
Support the administration of the Alliance's Talent Acquisition (TA) function and activities
Represent the Alliance as an employer through positive interactions and ensuring a positive candidate experience through accurate and timely communication and demonstrating exceptional customer service
Coordinate elements of the TA function with guidance from the Recruiters such as posting jobs in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), scheduling interviews, etc.
Support Recruiters in filling temporary positions and working with temporary employment agencies
Support the coordination of the onboarding process
Perform administrative support such as completing accurate and timely data entry
Under the guidance of a Recruiter, perform duties as an Associate Recruiter and participating in the interview and selection process for routine recruitments
Utilize the online applicant tracking system (ATS), Greenhouse
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Knowledge of:
Modern principles and practices of Human Resources management and administration, and/or recruitment and selection
Applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, and ability to interpret and apply
Applicant Tracking Systems, Greenhouse preferred but not required
Ability to:
Work independently and as part of a team, including staff from other departments and the public in a fully remote environment
Maintain organization of a detailed and high-volume task list
Produce work that demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Perform accurate and timely data entry into multiple systems
Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills
Think critically, use problem solving skills and present realistic, creative improvements or solutions
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, or other related field
Minimum of two years of related experience providing recruitment/administrative support, preferably in a Human Resources department, [one (1) year of additional experience may substitute for the Associate’s degree] or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying
OTHER DETAILS
While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in a fully telecommute work environment right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview and on-boarding process for this position will be completed remotely
This position
may
require onsite presence when our offices re-open, which will be no sooner than February 1, 2022. Onsite presence will most likely be on a part-time basis, but is dependent on business needs
