Description
The Organizational Effectiveness Lead assesses organizational staffing and culture to identify requirements and solutions to meet workforce objectives along with fostering associate well-being and engagement to align with the company's culture and values. Design and implement development programs and drive talent mobility initiatives. Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Responsibilities
Humana is seeking an Organizational Effectiveness Lead that will:
Apply and integrate advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision making (e.g. Staffing, Learning & Development, Talent Management)
Partner with executives to define business objectives, including its vision, mission, goals, and motives. And partner with HR to develop a strategy that aligns with those objectives.
Connect closely with various partners like IT Finance and human resources to determine how we assess, attract, hire, develop, and retain talent to help meet short or long-term business goals
Collaborate across Finance, HR and business leaders to identify workforce gaps and risks, including skill shortage and turnover rates. Proposes staffing plans and staffing budgets
Partner with Inclusion & Diversity and Recruiting to streamline recruitment strategy, process and leader training
Partner with Organizational Development to ensure alignment with organizational structure changes
Monitor our business strategy to ensure we are well staffed with the right skills by partnering with leaders and executives to forecast headcount needs
Collect organizational data and use it to generate reports on work volume and projected staffing needs. Provide consultation on how to optimize work schedules, identify critical positions and when to reassign workers.
Develop job profiles and development maps
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 3 or more years of relevant experience
Prior experience in Workforce Planning and Development
Change leadership : demonstrated success promoting change by helping others to change and remove barriers
Consulting skills : able to assimilate business knowledge and knowledge of internal customer's unique needs/situation
Analytical skills : to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
Influencing Skills : ability to influence others at multiple organizational levels, to lead and work in a team environment; ability to lead collaborative efforts
Strategic communicator: able to simplify the complex with proven experience presenting to top level executives
Preferred Requirements
SAFe or other Agile experience
3 or more years of technical experience with a focus on Security
