Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Ltd. based in London, is looking for an experience and driven HR Business Partner
on a Fixed Term Contract who is willing to roll back their sleeves and go beyond to join our team in London. You will be an integral part of a team that is building one of the world’s strongest brokerage brands, and part of a global enterprise that employs technology in all aspects of its business to generate prudent, controlled growth. There is a potential for this opportunity to become a permanent appointment.
Your Responsibilities:
Responsible for all HR Operations activities for our London office
Responsible for various regional HR projects including process development and improvement locally and globally through collaboration, communication, and execution
Responsible for employee on-boarding and supporting the employee life cycle including benefits enrollment, leave support, document management, and termination/hire processing
Payroll processing and administration for the UK in collaboration with our external payroll agent
Build solid relationship with Senior Leadership team and Line managers and advise on all people related activities
Advise on employee relations issues including but not limited to performance management, statutory leave, disciplinary, grievances
Continuously improve policies and processes
Nurture a positive working environment
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs if needed
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management
Other administrative and supportive duties as and when needed
Your Experience and Skills:
5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in an international company
1 years’ experience in payroll processing and administration
Experience in the Financial industry preferred. Technology industry experience as a plus
Excellent knowledge and practical experience in UK employment law
Proficient in MS-Office, especially Excel
Exemplary communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Independent, punctual and careful working methods with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Motivated, organized, and trustworthy team player with a great eye for detail
