The Benefits Analyst is an integral member of 2U’s Total Rewards Team who will drive key functions of 2U’s Benefits initiatives and philosophy.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration of the employee benefit programs, including health and welfare insurance plans, 401(k) retirement plan, and wellness initiatives
Identify and champion process and program efficiencies and opportunities for streamlining and improvement
Provide support for leaves of absence & medical accommodations; liaison between employees and HRBPs
Resolve employee benefit issues and discrepancies
Assist with the development and maintenance of employee benefits communication materials including plan documents, company intranet, and open enrollment
Key team member for Open Enrollment process including communication development, testing and deployment
Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and OSHA reporting
Process benefit and leave of absence related tasks in Workday
Assist Benefits Team with ensuring compliance with laws and regulations applicable to employee benefit programs including but not limited to COBRA, ERISA. HIPAA, ACA, FMLA
Work on special projects involving testing, reporting, and ad-hoc plan audits
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 -3 years of human resource experience preferably directly related to benefits
Strong organizational skills and love of the attention to detail
Strong excel skills and the desire to advance skills
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Inquisitor by nature, this person is not afraid to ask questions and double check their own work
Ability to start and prioritize projects as needed
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $60,000 with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
