WHERE YOU FIT IN
The People Insights team which part of the HR Talent and Resourcing Operations needs strong expert MI support to develop new dashboards and reports to enable them to deliver a range of strategic projects. The needs of our businesses will mean we need to have a strong understanding of business questions and be able to provide insights through accurate and timely reporting.
This position is focusing on data & management information, providing support and deliver MI & Reporting to Health AnalyticsInsights & Performance team based in US.
You will actively partner with Insights & Performance in Shell Health to leverage automation and process improvement opportunities through new reporting solutions. You have a passion for data, innovation and using them to solve business problems.
The Role
Deliver regular and ad hoc reports in a timely manner
Become a subject-matter-expert in reporting and the Health AnalyticsInsights & Performance Reporting data model; understanding the data fields, definitions, input, output (across multiple systems) and data quality requirements; be able to identify data quality issues with system
Develop new BI solutions for the business – reports and dashboards (data visualisation)
Ensure data, MI and insights accuracy is kept to a high standard and kept consistent
Complete regular audits of data and reports
Manage HR reporting system – run reports and provide analytics
Seek to improve operational efficiency - increasing service levels
Maintain clear communication channels through the business, providing accurate analysis and reporting
Present insights in an easily digestible and effective way
Understand business needs and translate into analysis, MI reporting and insights
Apply multiple analysis tools (must have: Power BI,; nice to have: Alteryx, R, SQL, or Azure) and techniques to identify critical insights, then produce and present effective presentations for team and/or client consumption
This role will be responsible for projects that will vary in focus and complexity
This role’s scope may include requests and projects that:
Are time sensitive to address an immediate client need or emerging topic
Are highly complex, leveraging data sets (mature or immature) across multiple stakeholder groups
Are relatively simple, but have high visibility, requiring dedicated focus and flawless execution
Elaborate on a previous research effort, with more granularity or segmentation
In partnership with a specific HRBI client team, but require additional analytical support/bandwidth
Dimensions
You will be required to support Shell Health group (across Business, Functions and Country)
This position has no line or budget responsibility.
Requirements
Strong Power BIor other BI experience including data visualisation toolsmodeling, DAX expressions, visualizations, and user management
Advanced user of Excel
Knowledge of reporting and/or other analytics tools ie, e.g., SQL, MS Azure or Data platformR, SAS, etc.
Ability to interpretcritically think to translate complex data and provide insightinto understandable and appealing insights and conclusions
Quick learner and self-starter; independent, able to work with limited guidance and take accountability to deliver against expectations
Strong project management and organisation skills
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong presentation and relationship building skills
Experience creating Shell DIY solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) preferred [DIY Certification received]

Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously; often against tight deadlines
Provide meaningful input to prioritization and scope of work discussions, led by immediate manager and effectively balance the needs/interests of business partners with the practical constraints of analytical best practices
Incorporate past learnings and experiences to inform approaches to current problems
Adapt and reprioritize to adjust to changing business conditions
Have strong collaboration skills, but also the confidence and ability to work autonomously
Be an excellent communicator, connector, and negotiator; will consistently and effectively partner across multiple stakeholder groups to achieve desired outcomes
Have a desire for continuous improvement of skillset through personal development (e.g., trainings, self-guided learning)
Able to work with numerous and concurrent deadlines to deliver solutions with high level of accuracy
Able to work in Europe or American time zone
