Job Purpose/Summary:
Lead the evolution and execution of our Global Total Rewards marketing and communications strategy to showcase the breadth and value of Tyson Foods’ Total Rewards offerings to both current and prospective employees to attract, reward and retain Team Members throughout Tyson Enterprise. This includes marketing and communications related to benefits, compensation and recognition, as well as Team Member health and well-being. Partner closely with the Global Human Resources (HR) and Enterprise Communication teams to ensure a consistent and aligned approach across HR Team Member communications and to advance our Employer of Choice external communications platform. Support executive communications and thought leadership for, and work directly with, the Head of Global Total Rewards, in addition to serving on the Total Rewards Leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shape Global Total Rewards communications strategy and messaging and deliver a marketing and communication plan that demonstrates the breadth and depth of Tyson Foods’ Total Rewards offerings. Align Global Total Rewards communications strategy, marketing, activations, and messaging with global HR communications strategy and Enterprise communications strategy, driving greater employee engagement, understanding and usage of employee benefits, compensation, recognition programs and health and well-being resources. Provide oversight for executive communications from Head of Global Total Rewards to Total Rewards community. Evaluate the most effective ways to communicate with our diverse team member population and develop innovative ways to use technology to maximize communication effectiveness. Develop and execute a robust measurement strategy to ensure effectiveness of internal and external communication efforts, leveraging communications and Team Member sentiment data (ex: Glint Survey) to inform best-in-class communications strategies. Ensure alignment of timing and messaging for Global Total Rewards initiatives within broader HR communications context. Maintain relationships with external consultants, industry groups and thought leaders to promote leading communication practices, internally and externally.
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 10 years of related experience in Human Resources, Operations, Finance, or related field.
Computer Skills: Expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint is preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Experience in counseling senior leadership on communications needs and opportunities is required.
Special Skills: Experience in counseling senior leadership on communications needs and opportunities is required. Previous experience leading communication and/or change management strategies is strongly preferred.
Supervisory: Proven leadership of teams and management of large, complex projects is required.
