Bilingual HR Specialist-Employee Relations  Aon is currently recruiting for a Bilingual HR Specialist-Employee Relations to join our team. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our Aon Canada office locations.The HR Specialist-Employee Relations will be primarily responsible for providing expert, practical, problem-solving advice and support on Employee Relations matters including but not limited to performance, absence management, HR investigations and policy interpretation. Aon is in the business of better decisions At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed. What the day will look like: HR Specialist-Employee Relations have a variety of interactions with colleagues, managers and business leaders as they respond to questions and issues related to HR policy and procedures.Provides advice and counsel to colleagues and managers on confidential, sensitive ER matters and. issues.Consults with managers and colleagues on absence related concerns, coordinating as appropriate with leave and disability specialists. Use coaching and influencing skills to ensure the right outcome is achieved in each case, managing risk whilst maximising business resultsConducts investigations independently and brings to closure following appropriate protocol and ensuring compliance with local legislation. Provides input and feedback to HR Connect Management on opportunities for improvement in HR programs, process and internal partnershipsHow this opportunity is different This role consults on solutions and strategies to resolve issues on a variety of people and HR process related topics.
