A prestigious financial firm is on the search for a Workday HRIS Manager. This will be a technical hands on configuration manager. They will manage 3-5 direct reports and help with day-to-day support and enhancing the Workday platform. They will work with and be the SME for HCM modules, HCM time tracking, etc.
Responsibilities:
Partner with HRIS and lead internal business users and stakeholders to prioritize, design, scope, and develop requirements for implementing new features and functionality in Workday HCM
Recommend technical and functional solutions taking into account priorities, tradeoffs, and best practices while driving alignment among stakeholders
Responsible for execution of detailed implementation plans including estimation, design, build, test, deploy, and support
Lead troubleshooting and escalations across the business, vendors, and information technology
Lead the support for the Workday system including, but not limited to, research and resolution of system issues, user support, and scheduled activities
Manage the design of Workday integrations as per requirements to ensure technical and business objectives are met
Design solutions that ensure the integrity and quality of data is precise to ensure reporting accuracy
Stay up to date on all new features and functionality provided by Workday across HCM, cross-application services, and some areas of Financials relevant to the current implementation at COMPANY
Act as a subject matter expert on Workday at COMPANY - build upon/maintain professional relationships with key colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that the services and solutions provided meet the current and future needs of COMPANY
Technology ownership of Workday system and other HCM technologies at COMPANY
Manage and communicate regular status and other key metrics
Lead and support the resolution of integration issues, execute ad hoc data uploads, implement change requests and develop of complex reports and dashboards
Ensure the team maintains awareness of current trends in HCM through classes, reading, and conferences, and Workday Community to continuously increase Human Resources and HRIS knowledge
Lead and mentor a team. Develop the team for individual and organization success.
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Workday Security based on best practices
Manage 3-5 direct reports
Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related
10 years of hands on experience with HCM systems
5 years of experience implementing and supporting Workday HCM
3 years of management experience
Strong background in functional areas of Human Resources
Project experience with multiple Workday HCM (or other HR technology) implementations
Requires an in-depth knowledge of a development life cycle under Agile methodologies
Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Project, Word, Excel).
Requires a broad knowledge of HCM systems and technologies
Experience with implementing and configuring Workday business processes, required
Deep understanding of Workday data and structure, reporting, dashboards and EIBs, required
Workday Security Administration, required
Experience with web service integrations (SOAP, WSDL, XML) and Core Connectors, preferred
Expertise with complex Workday calculated fields, condition rules, and eligibility rules, required
