Essential Functions:Develops deep understanding of business strategy of designated business unit(s); shares responsibility for business goals and target delivery of the Company.Provides strategic HR support and counsel to business unit(s) leadership in areas of workforce planning, talent/organizational development and performance, compensation, staffing and employment practices, organizational design, change management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, interpretation of HR policy, and legal compliance.Acts as a single point of contact for employees and managers in business unit(s).Identifies and prepares development plans for key employees and high potential employees.Identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to prevent and manage risks.Identifies areas for performance improvement and facilitates positive changes in management team.Understands and evaluates the human capital needs of business unit(s) and provides innovative solutions.Manages HR-related communication within business unit; ensures consistency with Company-wide HR communications.Conducts regular meetings with designated business unit(s).Addresses and resolves complex employee relations issues.Conducts employee investigations to determine appropriate Company response and to ensure investigation outcomes are fair, equitable, and compliant with company policy and state/federal employment laws.Coordinates and communicates any employee wage/hour changes with compensation team and payroll department within established timelines.Assists with salary administration and coordinates with compensation team to ensure compliance and equity within organization.Ensures knowledge of relevant employment law and regulations is up-to-date and current via professional publications and attendance of seminars, webinars, and conferences as necessary.Participates and contributes to team knowledge through participation in staff meetings; may mentor HR generalists and assistants.Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources Management preferred.Minimum four (4) years of experience in Human Resources.
