Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Reward professional to join our global Reward and Job Evaluation Team. The main purpose of the team is to create and maintain a high-performing organisation culture by delivering programmes that reward and recognise key employee capabilities, skills, behaviours, experience and performance, ensuring reward systems are market-relevant, equitable and cost-effective; and ensuring job level consistency and internal equity across jobs in Shell.
The role of the Reward Management Adviser is to support the organisation in the design, roll-out and delivery of compensation programmes, projects and strategies. He/she will provide customized metrics, market analysis and pay benchmarking reports as well as seek to understand what other organisations do with respect to reward practices. Additionally the person will help org structure design and job evaluation for small or larger scale reorganisations. The post holder will also suggest ideas for reward simplification, standardization and automation.
Key accountabilities:
Assisting with delivering the annual benchmarking, data analysis and pay review cycle
Supporting different areas of Reward through appropriate analysis and insight sharing
Supporting activities related to design of the job architecture
Helping maximize digital technologies for Reward and Job Evaluation
Running Reward and Job Evaluation tools and processes
Working within the Reward governance guidelines and risk and control framework, monitoring good corporate governance across Shell to provide assurance on the standards of application with a continuous improvement mindset
Collaborating with broader HR teams to ensure consistent implementation of pay decisions
Helping to ensure that Reward communication materials contain clear, transparent and consistent messages about reward
Supporting and advising on local country application of global pay policies and processes
Flagging and supporting the management of conflicting perspectives related to Reward and Job Evaluation challenges
Requirements:
Proven experience working within the Reward discipline
Sound analytical skills, with experience of working with large numerical data sets
Demonstrated (senior) stakeholder engagement in an international environment
University degree or equivalent
Must be confident working with Excel spreadsheets.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English
