Role Summary:
The UX Senior Manager is responsible for facilitation of meetings and to lead brainstorming / sketching sessions with UX Product team, and as needed View Product Team partners and cross-functional managers, to articulate the translation and manifestation of the vision to define the design direction of integrated experiences across Sprint Teams.
Responsible to oversee a UX Product team(s) focused on a specific area of responsibility within the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. desktop, tablet, and mobile web touchpoints.
Multi-discipline accountability, comprised of visual design, copywriting, and information architecture. A developed and balanced understanding of strategy, usability, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design is a must.
Facilitates the Human Centered Design practice for one or more product portfolios, each usually consisting of several product delivery teams. They will collaborate closely with their product management and technology partners to deliver outcomes and key results for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership
May lead the quality assurance effort if needed
Provides direct guidance and mentorship to UX View Team members
Responsible for evolution of a dynamic process for all Product work
Responsible for support and contribution to the evolution of a rapid, dynamic process or approach to heighten efficiencies
2. Work with UX, product leadership, and enterprise stakeholders to gain approval on solutions
Responsible for the approval of high level solution to product, technical and UX leadership to ensure all critical business requirements are met, the technical solution supports the experience requirements, and the overall experience meets design and brand standards
Responsible for work presentation to product UX team and UX Director for feedback and approval in conjunction with the UX Manager/Senior UX Designer

3. Center of Excellence/Discipline Maturity & Brand Expression
Thought leadership level knowledge and contribution to various brand guidelines, pattern conventions and standards, and process efficiencies related to quality assurance and center or excellence/discipline maturity
4. Defining the User Experience / Interaction Design: Communicating Vision and Design Strategy
Responsible for gathering of business, technical and customer requirements through partnership with tech leads and product owners
Provides direction to UX Managers and UX sprint team members on appropriate deliverables to support work efforts to communicate and/or test the defined solution
Responsible for the definition of the scope, approach and high level solution for new and/or changes to existing customer experiences
Responsible for leadership, mentorship, and coaching within all UX team members
Responsible for working sessions with all UX team members to ensure standard design practices are utilized to achieve quality and overall experiences are consistent between sprint teams and product teams
5. Discipline Contributions
Accountable for the high-level understanding of all UX disciplines to provide direction, feedback, and mentorship.
Accountable for the timely delivery and adherence to quality expectations of Sprint teams
Responsible to contribute to the community of practice for one of the UX disciplines through providing feedback and guidance to team members of a specific discipline within the UX Center of Excellence
Basic Qualifications:
6 years experience in a UX related role or HRIS processes, agile delivery, program management, and/or HR process design
3 years of leadership experience
