Position Scope:
The Compensation Analyst is a 6 month contractor role with potential for full hire. You will assist in the overall function of the Compensation team of LivePerson. In this role, you will report to and work closely with the Senior Analyst in the Compensation team, and provide support in the building and operationalization of various compensation programs and initiatives.
In this role you will:
Conduct pay reviews, job analysis, and market benchmarking by qualitatively evaluating job descriptions and organizational design.
Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges.
Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as Exempt or Nonexempt.
Maintain and pressure-test existing job family classifications and salary ranges.
Assist the team in any of the following programs: development of global compensation ranges (base, bonus, and equity), maintaining forecasting models, bonus calculations, system testing and enhancements, and others.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Your qualifications are:
Bachelors in Math, Statistics, Economics, or other related fields.
2 years experience in Compensation. Software-company experience is a plus.
Stellar spreadsheet skills: logic, modeling, complex formulas, etc.
Collaborative attitude, a learning mindset, and tenacity to meet tight deadlines
Strong adherence to confidentiality, and a high level of integrity and discretion
