What We’re Looking For:
The Student Career Specialist will be responsible for re-engaging our graduates in career coaching. Student Career Specialists will report into a Senior Regional Director, who will be in charge of ensuring they meet or exceed their key metrics which include: outbound calls, appointment scheduling, caseload management, timely student feedback, and connecting students to Career Services offerings. The Student Career Specialist is a member of the Career Services team and participates in ongoing initiatives within the department.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Outbound Calls and Emails
Support your team’s Employer Ready efforts by conducting cold calls and email outreach to non-seekers as needed.
Interact with all students in a professional, service-oriented approach.
Scheduling Appointments with Career Directors
Schedule recurring coaching calls with job seekers and their Career Directors.
Caseload management
Managing your book of business to ensure all job seekers receive timely outreach.
Maintain accurate and timely records of activity in Salesforce, including highly detailed notes about a student’s activities.
Document graduate employments found through outreach in Salesforce.
Timely feedback
Respond to all student emails, texts, and voice messages within the same working day.
Connect students with Career Services offerings
Ask probing questions to provide appropriate resources to job seekers.
Encourage students to take advantage of the full suite of Career Service offerings including online workshops and events, Demo Days, and becoming Employer Ready.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
At least 1 year of experience
Experience in customer service
Account management experience
Outbound calling experience
Bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English
International experience preferred
