Investigating exceptions and ensuring appropriate actions are processed to clear these.Assist on annual projects, such as production of P11D’s and P60’s and ensure that payroll provider and other relevant parties are fully engaged. Ensure that adjustments to previous tax year PAYE submissions are recorded and additional payments/refunds are managed.  Also ensure that a record is kept of adjustments to P11D submissions, which result in a change to Class 1A NI payments.Liaise with the Overpayments Administrator to achieve a high rate of recovery success and accurate reporting to finance.To understand and comply with the requirements of the FCA, SM & CR, Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) and GDPR.Understanding of compilation and checking of monthly Sox controls for sign off.Regular review and updating of department process documents.Liaise with HR teams to ensure accurate processing of HR and payroll transactions, including the company’s flexible benefits scheme.Conduct detailed checks of monthly payroll to ensure accuracy of processing of data. Carry out payroll audits as and when required.Manage tickets raised in relation to payroll queries and ensure they are dealt with within the service level agreement (SLA). Investigate and resolve payroll queries from a variety of sources.
