The Position

The Talent Development Manager is responsible for driving our digital learning vision and learning platform engagement & experience, ensuring our tools and technologies are up to date and fit for purpose. The role also leads the development of functional skills for targeted audiences, critical to the success of our business. The role reports into the Senior Manager Talent Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and drives our digital learning strategy, ensuring we have the right tools, technologies and processes in place for the development of blended learning journeys.

  • Manages the European Workday Learning (WDL) learner experience and engagement, in line with our European learning vision and in collaboration with the Global WDL team. Drives platform improvements within budget while maximizing impact.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert to EU Talent partners on driving platform engagement within the technical possibilities that Workday Learning has to offer (Campaigns, etc).

  • Educates and advises PVH U AMS team & EU Talent Partners (SMEs) on WDL functionalities.  Introduces learning content standards and governance, enabling SMEs to develop digital learning content/solutions within the possibilities of our learning platform.

  • Supports EU Talent Partners (SMEs) to ensure digital / blended learning journeys meet our Global/European quality standards and best practices, as well as local needs.

  • Identifies and prioritizes Functional learning & development needs for targeted audiences, based on the outcomes of our Workforce Planning Process and in close collaboration with the HR Business Partners.

  • Conducts learning needs analyses to determine the gap between the current and desired level of skills and competencies, in close collaboration with business leaders.

  • Provides frameworks for the design and development of functional skill building programs, based on adult learning insights and best practices ensuring learner engagement and knowledge transfer to the workplace.

  • Partners with colleagues, SMEs and stakeholders to co-design and implement digital/blended Functional development journeys while serving (future) business needs and team priorities.

  • (Co-) develops and curates blended content like (online) courses, videos, webinars and articles for Functional development needs.

  • Manages European functional development projects; builds project plans, leads project teams, manages stakeholders, drives change management and follows through till the delivery of the end product. Applies agile practices where relevant.

  • Supports the management of relevant external vendor partnerships, from sourcing to negotiation, commissioning, and ongoing relationship management

  • Evaluates, analyzes and reports on Talent Analytics to assess learning experience, evaluate business impact and suggest improvements.

  • Builds and manages strong relationships with stakeholders, assist in identifying risks that might occur in the implementation of a learning program/project plan and suggest approaches to mitigate risks

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Master degree ideally in Psychology, Management, Business Administration;

  • Previous work experience is minimum of 7 years, of which minimum of 4 years in Talent Development.

  • Has worked previously in an international matrix;

  • Excellent project management skills; able to oversee and drive multiple projects simultaneously

  • Brings specialist knowledge of Learning Platforms and other digital development tools

  • Keeps abreast of new learning technologies and market developments, benchmarking our internal technologies against these to ensure best practice is maintained.

  • Experience and ability to anticipate and manage change and recommend pragmatic solutions;

  • Analytical skills and creative mindset to define out-of-the-box solutions

  • Used to an agile way of working, focusing on the needs of the end-consumer and using feedback loops to iterate the minimum valuable product.

  • Builds constructive relationships quickly – great stakeholder management skills
