Description

The Senior Talent Management Professional develops, implements, and evaluates employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs in a combination of disciplines such as management development, talent management and succession planning.

Responsibilities

The Senior Talent Management Professional plays an integral role on the Enterprise Talent Management team, reporting to the AVP of Talent and Performance Management. The position will focus on the design and support of core talent practices such as succession planning, rotational program development planning and other programs as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide process and implementation support of core talent practices across Enterprise Talent Management Team


Supports the flawless execution of Humana's Succession Management process
Act as subject matter expert and decision maker regarding Workday HRIS requirements and functionality for talent reviews, internal mobility and succession
Collect and synthesize data to generate insights resulting in recommended solutions and a proactive approach to building a healthy leadership bench
Support the design and regular maturation of talent review and internal mobility processes
Designs and facilitates the selection process for curated development opportunities inside and outside of Humana
Manage the nomination process for the Management Operating Committee (MOC) and the Annual Leadership Forum
Support other talent management practices as needed


Lead summer intern programming for Humana's internship programs


Coordinate efforts across intern program managers and lead regular calls to share information, calendars, progress, feedback
Create resources for leaders of interns related to onboarding, development, performance management and conversion of interns to full-time


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Must be passionate about contributing to the success of the broader team
Strong detail orientation


Preferred Qualifications


Previous Talent Management experience
MBA or advanced degree
